Ford Otosan, Turkey's leading company in the automotive industry, has been working to offer innovative products and services that benefit society since its establishment in 1959. Ford Otomotiv Sanayi A.Ş., a publicly-traded company in which Ford Motor Company and Koç Holding had equal shares in 1997, carries out the import, sales, and after-sales services of Ford automobiles to Turkey, as well as the production and export of commercial vehicles.

Ford Otosan, which set out with the vision of being the most valuable and most preferred industrial company in Turkey, maintains production in five facilities: Gölcük and Yeniköy in Kocaeli, Ford Otosan Eskişehir Factory, Spare Parts Warehouse, and R&D Center in Istanbul Sancaktepe.

Ford Otosan, which has a total production capacity of 455,000 vehicles, 80,000 engines, and 140,000 powertrains, is the employment leader in the Turkish automotive industry with more than 14,500 employees.

Ford Otosan, the export champion of the automotive industry and the Turkish industry for many years, exported vehicles and spare parts to 96 countries on five continents in 2021, achieving export of 6.2 billion dollars.

Being the pioneer of the first R&D studies in the Turkish automotive industry in 1961, Ford Otosan is among the few brands in its sector as a "Turkish automotive company" with nearly 1,900 R&D employees, having the ability and infrastructure to design, develop and test a complete vehicle.

Ford Otosan, which set out from today for the electric-connected-autonomous technology of the future, revealed its vision for the future with the investments it announced in 2021. Ford Otosan, which produces the Ford E-Transit, Europe's most powerful and Turkey's first electric commercial vehicle, has taken the production responsibility of the first fully electric commercial vehicle produced in Turkey, including battery assembly, thanks to E-Transit.

It transformed the Gölcük Plant, the pioneering production center of Ford Transit and the only production center of Ford Custom in the world, into Turkey's first integrated electric vehicle production facility. E-Transit, which is produced in Kocaeli Plants, which obtains all of its electrical energy from 100% renewable sources, will transform Ford Otosan into Ford's electric commercial vehicle production base in Europe.
